• Ellis Dillnutt

    Ellis is a textile designer who's recently graduated from the University of Derby. Her work first caught my eye at the degree show, I just instantly loved the colours and patterns of her gorgeous satchels and scarves. Luckily for me, Ellis found my work and got in touch about a product shoot! Here are some of the results;

    These beautiful bags and scarves are now for sale, so if you fancy getting your hands on one email Ellis direct. You can see more of Ellis' work and read about her inspiration on her blog: www.ellisdillnutt.blogspot.co.uk

  • Photo Day

    The weather is glorious at the moment and I'm trying to make the most of it while it lasts, so yesterday I went on a little afternoon adventure with my lovely friend Lara (the talented videographer who's worked with me on some behind the scenes videos you can see on my site).

    We took a bus to Belper for a business meeting and after a very yummy lunch at Fresh Basil, headed out into the cobbled streets to the River Gardens to soak up the sun and take some snaps.

  • Vintage Life June '13

    So in my last post I mentioned I had some exciting news regarding my shoot at Planet Sputnik for The Packaged Wardrobe, well.. I've been lucky enough to have some of the photos from the shoot featured in the June issue of Vintage Life magazine.

    The magazine has had a makeover recently and is looking great, you can get your hands on a copy in WHSmith or Sainsburys.

  • Catch Up

    Blimey, it feels like only last week that I was typing up my blog about the approaching April madness and now here we are at the end of May!

    I've been totally slacking on the blog front so here's a little catch up of what I've been up to recently. Expect some blog posts with shiny new work VERY soon, I've got lots to share.. :)

    I've been lucky enough to visit a variety of really ace locations for photoshoots over the past few weeks including Planet Sputnik - I've got some pretty exciting news regarding that particular shoot which I'll be able to share more of later this week..

    Alongside the student shoots, Sian Revill (MUA) and myself have been busy planning a selection of test shoots before she jets off to LA for six months! I also shot the beautiful new collections from Natasha Jane and Sacred Realms, plus I got to work on fun product shoots with Ink & Thread and the Bluebird Tea Company - that's right.. I got to combine two of my loves in life, tea and photography!

    Add into the mixture a couple of interior shoots, a beautiful VW Campervan and a hair shoot with Sally Montague.. that pretty much sums up the craziness of the past few weeks!

    This week I'm taking some much needed time off - my excuse? My birthday falls right in the middle of the week, might as well make the most of it huh? :) I'll be back really soon with new work and maybe a cheeky BTS video or two courtesy of the brilliant Lara Elliott. Watch this space!
